The Salfordian Hotel is looking for volunteers to support them in garden maintenance and entertainment.
Do you have green fingers or the voice of an angel? Then the Salfordian Hotel wants to hear from you!
The Salfordian Hotel, in Southport, is run by a charitable trust dedicated to providing affordable holidays and respite breaks to Salford residents over 50 years of age. They are looking for volunteers to provide support in two areas: Gardening and Entertainment.
Garden volunteers are needed to carry out ongoing garden maintenance, including weeding and planting, mowing the lawns and painting garden furniture. Volunteers will need to have basic gardening skills but you don’t have to be an expert.
The garden is a key feature of the Hotel, particularly for guests with mobility issues, so the work of garden volunteers plays a huge role in contributing to guests wellbeing.
The Hotel is also looking for entertainment volunteers. If you can sing, play music, perform magic or tell jokes, then this could be a great opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills by performing in front of a small but welcoming audience.
All volunteers will receive travel expenses, and the Hotel will provide the necessary gardening equipment. The performance space is not large, so may not be suitable to groups of performers.
If you can help in any of these roles then please contact Paul Bailey on 01704 538810 or by emailing email@example.com
