Queenscourt Hospice are looking for fundraising volunteers, and fans of football and music may be particularly interested.
Queenscourt Hospice have two upcoming fundraising collections taking place over the August bank holiday weekend.
On Saturday 27th August they will be collecting at Southport FC, Haigh Road, Southport during the Southport FC/ Tranmere FC match. Volunteers would need to arrive by 2.30pm at the turnstiles. The collection will take place during half-time, so volunteers would also get the opportunity to watch the match.
Local bands will be playing live music at the band stand on Lord Street, Southport on Monday 29th August and bucket collectors will be needed to ask the audience to donate. There are two shifts available on the day: 11am until 1.30pm and 1.30pm until 4pm.
All volunteers must be aged 18 or over.
Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides support for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancs. They care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage.
Less than a 1/3 if their funding comes from the NHS, so their own fundraising efforts play a huge role in ensuring that vital services are available for their patients.
Whether you can help on the dates above, or would be interested in supporting Queenscourt’s fundraising at other times in the year, then please contact the fundraising team on 01704 517 420 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
