Following their successful launch earlier this year, Waterloo Autism Hub is looking to recruit more volunteers.
The Waterloo Autism Hub takes place on Wednesdays from 10am until 4pm, at Sefton Carers’ Centre, South Road. The Hub offers a space for those living with Autism to meet, socialise and access training and support. Activities include film & media sessions, guest speakers/workshops, social events, and signposting to other services that may benefit those attending.
Volunteers would provide a friendly welcome to those attending the Hub, support them in taking part in the activities and help clients to access information about other services and activities they may be interested in. The Hubs hope to help attendees meet new people and increase confidence.
All volunteers must be aged 18 or over. Volunteers will need to be reliable and have a caring and supportive nature. You will also need to be reliable, and able to attend on Wednesdays from 9.30am until 5pm, helping to set up the Hub and clear away afterwards.
Volunteers will receive a full-induction, and both travel and lunch expenses are available.
