Military bereavement charity Forces Support provide practical support to bereaved families throughout the UK.
They are in desperate need of volunteers for their Charity Shop located on Kings street in Southport.
Paul Hartill from Forces Support explains “Our voluntary roles can be as varied and mixed as you choose them to be. We are looking for people with various skills who can really add value to this great cause. We need stock preparation, till operatives, merchandisers, customer focused helpers, people to help move larger bulky items and those who can PAT test or would be willing to learn how to do this. An eye for detail and those who can recognize the value in what we receive and support our fundraising and efforts to increase income to support our fallen heroes. Giving your time to our charity is not only a chance to meet new people, learn new skills but also to show appreciation for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
There is also opportunity to undergo training within the charity with courses on PAT testing and the opportunity to Achieve a NVQ
