Heritage Volunteering Opportunities!

St Nicholas’ Church in Blundellsands is looking to recruit more volunteers to help promote the heritage of the church.

The Grade II listed church, which was recently awarded a Sefton4Good grant to run its volunteer-led heritage project, also requires volunteers to help out at various fundraising nights throughout the year. St Nicholas Church Heritage Volunteers.jpg

The church recently opened its doors as part of Heritage Open Days England.

The popular event featured performances by Edwin Paling and Roslin Lazaroff of the Scottish National Orchestra, guided tours and children’s activities.

The church is also running a Heritage Photography competition which will run throughout September. Entry details are available during church visits or look on the church website www.stnicholasblundellsands.org or Facebook page for details.

If you would like to donate a few hours as a volunteer with St Nicholas’ Church or take part in the photography competition please contact Lynne at lgodfrey4@virginmedia.com
