Volunteers Needed to Help Create Accessible Community Garden – Saturday 31st July

Just an hour or two of your time could help make a real difference to local disabled people.

Mencap Liverpool & Sefton are looking for volunteers to help create an accessible community garden this Saturday (31st July 2021). Between 10.30am and 3pm volunteers can help to plant 220 plants and help create a welcoming space for the community at Mencap’s Crosby venue on Mariners Road, L23 6SX.

You don’t need to be a skilled gardener, in fact you just need to meet 3 criteria:

  • Want to make the world (specifically Crosby) a better place
  • Be available for 1 or more hours on Saturday 31st July between 10.30am and 3pm
  • Be able to dig a hole and put a plant in it.

The offer your help, or for more information, email volunteer@mencapliverpool.org.uk so staff know how many people to expect.
