Southport Holiday Club Needs Volunteers

The Summer Fest Holiday Club, from Compassion Acts, is looking volunteers that can support its three venues during August.

Commpassion Acts is working in partnership with churches across Southport to prvovide a two-week long summer programme, primarily for those eligible for free school meals. Volunteers will help to deliver a variety of fun-filled activities including arts & crafts, sports, cookinng, dance & drama, etc.

The holiday clubs will be taking place on Monndays to Fridays between 16th and 27th August, with volunteers needed between 9am and 4pm. However, anyone who volunteers will not be needed to cover every day/shift.

There are volunteer vacancies for every day and at each of the three venues, but there is a particular need for volunteers who are available on Fridays.

All volunteers will need to have a full, valid Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. If you don not already have one Compassion Acts will arrange one for you.
