As part of Volunteers Week, Sefton CVS hosted their annual Volunteer Celebration Event in partnership with Volunteer Centre Sefton and the Mayor of Sefton. The event brought together over 150 volunteers from organisations in Sefton in celebration and recognition of their invaluable contributions and amazing work across the borough.

The volunteers recognised at the event were from organisations including; Homewatch, Southport and Formby Macmillan Centre, Parkhaven and Friends of South Park, among many others. Their collective efforts span a diverse range of activities, from supporting vulnerable individuals to enhancing local green spaces.

Distinguished guests included; The Worship the Mayor of Sefton Cllr June Brown, Cllr Liz Dowd, Cllr Paulette Lappin, Colonel Martin Amlot, Patron of Sefton CVS and Angela White, Chief Executive of Sefton CVS.
