Volunteer Celebration Event 2024

Nominations are now open for our Volunteer Celebration event, and this year promises to surpass all expectations, as we celebrate the borough of Sefton’s 50th anniversary.

The Mayor of Sefton will give thanks to volunteers who have devoted their time to serving across the borough, recognising contributions from both small groups and large organisations alike.

As part of Sefton at 50, we’ve expanded our awards lineup and are counting on you to nominate and help us discover outstanding volunteers in Sefton who deserve special recognition.

The Long Service Awards will be categorised by 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years, recognising those volunteers who have shown dedication to organisations through the borough across the last 5 decades.

Nominations for all the awards will close at 5pm, Friday 24 May 2024

Booking is now available for organisations in Sefton to join us at the event to celebrate and recognise volunteers for their dedication and hard work, many of who enable them to provide their services across the borough.

Please note, organisations may bring up to 10 volunteers or 9 volunteers and 1 staff member. Only one lead name per booking please. Booking is essential for this popular event and will close on Friday 24 May 2024.
